Treasures

Every month, the National and University Library (BNU), the University of Upper Alsace and the University of Strasbourg unveil a treasure from their collections. You will discover nuggets of Alsace's written and graphic heritage, manuscripts, books, and sometimes even unusual documents, often unknown to the general public. Each treasure is commented and put it back in its context.

Comme en témoigne l’ex-libris collé au dos, ce cliché fait partie des 1800 exemplaires appartenant au fonds Adolf Michaelis, fondateur et premier directeur de l’Institut d’archéologie classique de l’université impériale de Strasbourg (Kaiser-Wilhelm Universität), fondée en 1872.
