Every month, the National and University Library (BNU), the University of Upper Alsace and the University of Strasbourg unveil a treasure from their collections. You will discover nuggets of Alsace's written and graphic heritage, manuscripts, books, and sometimes even unusual documents, often unknown to the general public. Reisen Beschreibung von America welche das Hochlöbliche Regiment von Zweybrücken hat gemacht zu Wasser und zu Land vom Jahr 1780 bis 84 (Récit du voyage en Amérique effectué par le très glorieux régiment de Deux-Ponts sur mer et sur terre de 1780 à 1784) – dit Le journal de Flohr – est un récit de voyage manuscrit rédigé en allemand au XVIIIe siècle. Sur 244 pages, l’auteur témoigne de la guerre d’indépendance américaine entre image et écrit, emportant le lecteur avec lui.
